Very Collectible: “Hand Painted DUCK -symbol for Love & Fidelity” OOAK, unique. This is one of the last 3 of these unique hand-painted “Fidelity Ducks” from Manila.
In Asia--Mandarin ducks are given during special occasions to symbolize love and fidelity.
These are vintage stylized versions, circa 1980's, hand painted with beautiful designs in shades of browns, rusts, olive green, yellow ochre--a whole gamut of warm colors with some cool tones thrown in--ending in a metallic bronze gold beak. Made of plaster, hand-painted with acrylic paints, sprayed-finish coating. Gloss finish, and felted base.
Quite adorable for someone who collects ducks
8” long; 5” height; 4” width
This OOAK Collectible is very unique and vintage and is in impressive condition, that has been kept in my home (smoke-free and pet-free).
