I'm so excited to have found this beauty! This vintage mirrored loose powder compact by the Amita Jewelry Corporation features floral damascene work on the face of the compact, as well as two tiny butterflies in gold tone and dearly black inlay. The base of the compact is a smooth matte black and marked “Amita." The frame and push button clasp are gold tone metal. Inside, there is a framed mirror, a puff and sifter; minimal powder remnants are present.
*Approximately 3 3/8” in diameter by 3/8” thick.
*Very good vintage condition- very minimal wear to the exterior of the compact. Some of the leaves in the gold tone inlay are darker than others, possibly due to tarnish. Mild tarnish to the gold tone rim and interior. The mirror is clear and has no cracks. Some powder residue on the sifter and puff. This compact closes securely.
