Tells the life and showcases the work of acclaimed visual artist, Beauford Delaney. Rare true first edition copy, richly illustrated and with photographs. An ex-library copy with related stamps to fep and top outer edge of text block. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with mild rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Small tears to bottom corner of both liner flaps. Small, faint blemishes to top and bottom edges of both boards where tape was removed. Corners mildly bumped. A few instances of mildly split binding, though spine is straight and binding remains fairly strong on the whole. See photos for condition.
