VTG 1979 Richard Hunt Hok Hok Bird Art Card Haida Kwakiutl Native Print Canada

This is a vintage late 1970s signed art card by renowned Native American artist Richard Hunt, a member of the Kwa-Gulth (Kwakiutl) Nation in British Columbia. Dated 1979, this limited edition card features a vibrant, detailed loon design printed on green matte backing. It's artist signed and includes the original envelope and yellow insert describing Hunt and his heritage. Measures approx. 6" x 9" including the matte. The insert notes this may be among his first art card graphics. Printed by Artisan Prints, 605 Courtney St., Victoria, BC. The card is unused and in great condition overall, with only light corner wear from long-term drawer storage (see photos). A beautiful and collectible piece of Indigenous art history.
