Set of Vintage 1940s English Bone China Tea Cups and Saucers. Sweet Hand Painted Floral Pattern.
Bell Shaped Teacups with shallow bowl style saucers. Sweet handpainted wildflower florals

Bottoms printed with Bristol, founded in 1652 with two crosses swords, England , hand painted 14993, then a printed circle with a cursive B.

The printed mark BRISTOL POTTERY using the founded date 1652 was used from c1945-57 (with the crossed swords) and from 1957-65 without. This is the mark of Pountney & Co. of Bristol (one of the oldest pottery centers in the UK). Bristol Pottery (aka Pountney & Co Ltd) finally closed at the end of the 1960s.

Condition
Good vintage condition with no chips, no cracks. Crazing of the clear coat present. There may be slight variation in color in areas.

Each Saucer Approx: 5" Diameter
